Wood
Canvas
In our manufacturing process, we use high-quality solid pine wood. This wood is carefully seasoned and then dried, ensuring its durability and stability. It features few carefully selected knots, positively impacting the quality of our products. We take pride in sourcing our wood only from suppliers certified by FSC, guaranteeing that wood harvesting adheres to responsible forestry principles. Any remaining material is used for generating heat in our factory.
ART-RAM linen canvas stretchers are crafted from the finest quality linen, processed using traditional methods. Each step of the process is meticulously prepared, and the canvas is hand-impregnated. We start by applying hot bone glue, followed by three layers of acid-free acrylic gesso. Our product is characterised by its naturalness, hence subtle shade variations may occur. The linen canvas we offer performs exceptionally well in acrylic, oil, and other techniques. Its exceptional durability makes it particularly useful even in more demanding applications.
